Default Reporting online scammers and fraud

Hi,

Does anyone know where to report people who are trying to scam me by asking for my bank account details online.? I put an advert in several websites like Autoscout24 and already received 2 messages from different people. it is obvious they are not legit. Thanks.

Though how much good it does, I couldn't say. On the other hand, it most definitely does no harm

If you are selling a car you could try approaching one of those little secondhand street car vendors. We sold a 6 year old Fiat Panda and received a surprisingly large amount of money in return.

It’s impossible for anyone to police these things to any degree as the scum involved could live anywhere in the world. I would think myself lucky they are likely amateurs and not those coming up whereby they can really hack and get control of your mobile number/email. With everyone and their dog going over to using mobiles for two factor authentication (2FA) things are only going to get worse. I often am OTT on security and have for a long time now used a second email (and others) for shopping online and the likes. In the last couple of years I went over to also doing similar with the mobile and have a “shopping” mobile. An old android mobile with a PAYG sim with little or nothing on it. This I hold on the likes of Amazon who are still stupid enough to print your mobile number on their parcels for everyone to pick up. My proper mobile is only used for any forced 2FA, which unfortunately is becoming all too common.

I have reported them and got a confirmation email. This is the link:https://www.commissariatodips.it/seg...ine/index.html

I also have a second email that I use for shopping. Re selling the car, the second hand car sellers do not want a 10 year old car. I advertised it on Marketplace, but people there want something for nothing. I will be stuck soon as the new car comes on Wednesday and I do not want to pay car insurance for 2 cars( 3 including husband's car).
