Replacing a gas boiler in Italy -what brand?
My 30 year old gas combination boiler needs replacing. I would be grateful for recommendations regarding which brand to install based on reliability.
All suggestions gratefully received (including which makes to avoid!)
Many thanks
David

I had to replace mine after 20 years when it just died, in November. New one is an Arca. Plumber reckons it's the bees knees.

Do not buy Vailant. I had horrendous problems with it from day 1.

Arca do come highly recommended but then I've heard good reviews about Vailant as well. Often the contributing factors are minerals in water and the plumber. My father swears by his plumber as he always arrives promptly. He can't get his head around the fact that he wouldn't have to call him if he did quality installations.

As a retired UK heating engineer I used to install Worcester Bosch who had the best reputation.Vaillant used to be the best but they did reduce the quality of their components in latter years.
