Well....you can say "I reserved a bus, a place", and so on. In this case, I might have said " private buses". How would you have said, instead? Thanks!!

You do not pay a lot of money for a typo. Even you can see that this is a new sign for 2015 and aimed at tourists. There are NO excuses. Somebody paid for this huge mistake, but it only takes two seconds to ask the right person if it is okay.

I don't know if I still have the picture I took in a hotel in Lido di Jesolo back in the 80's. On the back of the bedroom door was the fire notice in several languages. The instructions in English had a subheading "When to warm the porter", which conjured up images of the guests dragging the porter upstairs and holding him out in front of whatever was on fire!

I can forgive (we all forgive) little Tony, Mario and Maria for writing tunny fish on their little trattoria menu. We understand that tunny fish is probably tuna fish. We even understand that "angry pasta" might be penne all'arrabbiata. Outside service from Trenitalia is unforgiveable. You are international.

Oh well, one of the most expensive restaurants in Doha, "le Vesuvio" (who knows why the article in French? maybe it's more "posh"?) has a lot of stupid mistakes in the menu, like "melanzane alla parmegiana" or "lasagne tradizionale" . They might check with the many Italians that go there for a supposed elegant dinner. I would not trust a restaurant like this: it means that there are no Italians working there. Of course they offer "fettuccine Alfredo" in the menu!!!

Wouldn't fancy that teacher's chances if you got hold of her.
