Re: nude beaches

I think you'd have to go to Noto, to the beach near the old Greek temple of Eloro just north of the Vendicari reserve - there things are pretty relaxed - but only outside of August. As far as I know there is no official nude beach in Sicily. but find a deserted spot and get your kit off...

Re: nude beaches

From what I've seen, Italians are extremely modest and the idea of a nude beach totally shocks them - especially a 'family' nude beach. I guess deep down they really are a Catholic country! :D

Re: nude beaches

I heard that the Mayor of Rimini would only allow attractive girls to go topless on the beaches, imagine the mortification of being turfed off the beach for having saggy boobs:rofl: Joking aside I am surprised that nude bathing is allowed in Sicily knowing how modest (and jealous) the Sicilians are.

It happens to me quite often. You get used to it after a while.

I have some Italian friends that regularly go to a nudist campsite - but it's in Croatia.

I no its supposed to be natural but I don't know why anyone would want to be a nudist, if its an all over tan there must be somewhere secluded in your garden, when nudists are interviewed on telly they are usually repulsive looking people who should cover up, its like wearing a track suit its always people so fat they can hardly walk, if I had little kids I would not be happy with them on the beach with middle aged nude men, when you think in the uk they don't like people taking pictures of kids in the park, how does that compare with a nude man looking at nude kiddies , to me its pervy
