Re: Napoli

I had briefly seen your original unedited post and judging by the current economic situation and the comments of friends who travel to Napoli regularly for business, there is a lot wrong there: crime, sanitation, public services, road safety, high insurance, etc. If your situation in Australia is not so good and your husband is unhappy as he has no friends, transferring to Napoli, in my opinion will only reverse the roles. That's even before you start to think about your child's education and welfare.

Although I hear the food and people are great (the other half that aren't criminals)!

Re: Napoli

Never been to Napoli, too scared.
Several times we drove past Napoli on our way to Calabria and it has been a very unpleasant experience. I remember driving in Calabria and thinking, this is heaven, no idiots on the roads( and we are used to them here in Rome). Traffic lights in Napoli are Christmas decorations.
So, unless you want to live in a chaotic town with all the negatives as Duffer mentioned, plus all Mafia controlled, what are the thumbs up for?

Good for you. If there is one place that scares the shit out of me, it's Napoli. And driving past the huge mounds of rubbish every day is not my idea of civilized.

Although, keep in mind I have been drinking a lot of Italian Haterade lately! Good luck to you.
