Naples to Gatwick
Just letting those interested know, that from May 1st, Easyjet are introducing flights from Napoli to Gatwick.
About the same low prices as their flights to Stansted too, so a lot better than expensive BA.

Not difficult! Just need them to start flying into Florence and giving Meridiana some competition. Mind you they are pretty reasonable anyway.

Re: Naples to Gatwick
Also we already have a LGW > NAP route. Why are all the flights to London airports? Can't we have some up north - and I don't mean just those holiday flights full of people going to the Sorrento area.
Sorry to moan...Do let us know if you get any other lowdown on Naples > UK flights.

Re: Naples to Gatwick
Am I right inthinking that BA fly Napoli to LGW?? We use easyjet all year round, booked early it's peanuts and only twenty minutes drive either end. Not tried BA though.

Hi Kenny. Yes, BA have always flown Naples to Gatwick. But Easyjet only ever flew to Stansted. So its the Easyjet, Naples to Gatwick flight that is the new one.

Stand by for the prices to drop then if Easyjet are taking on the same route as BA, mind you we never know how the airline companies collaborate and price fix do we??

Re: Naples to Gatwick
If Alitalia really does go bump and disappear I'm wondering what will happen to all their routes. I'm guessing Air France will grab a load as they are partners on some flights. This would be really bad news though as Air France doesn't seem to have heard of the concept of cheap flights!!

Re: Naples to Gatwick
I thought Alitalia had been saved but with a new name, I read somewhere before Christmas that the majority would be okay and only a minority of real estate and assets were being sold. There was no mention of routes though.
