My Carta di identita
...arrived in the post today! Took some time to get my residency sorted but now legal. Next job is apply for medical card and get registered with the doctor, then swap drivers licences over.
I think I may be one of the first to get the credit card type I D card? - they have only been doing them since August according to the commune.

Ha! It's probably just our village that has only been doing them since August of this year. Ten years behind everyone else sounds about right.
We should be getting our nice new doors and windows installed end of this month/early next, then we need a rewire - we are on the electricians waiting list - and the outside re-plastering and painting and that should be us sorted!
