Lost cat in Spoleto

The actor Nino Frassica lost his cat last year while filming Don Mateo at Sploeto. He offered €5000 for its safe return. He has accused various persons in Spoleto of hiding his cat and demanding that their houses are searched. The story has even reached the Guardian and will feature on Rete4 this week.

We cat lovers live in an alternate universe. Rules are four-pawed and entirely different from those of the 'real' (puke) world.

I would probably be tempted to commit 'pussycide' if anyone tried to steal any of our beloved six...

My sympathies are entirely with the cat owner.

Something different from the usual media sh*t show featuring the likes of Richie (aka Filthie) Rich and his band of opportunistic grifters.

Sounds like a case for Inspector Montalbano!

Where Frassica went wrong was naming suspected thieves on the internet. The suspects had a queue of people ay their front doors wanting the €5000 reward.

Even Montalbano couldn't solve the crime.I suspect that cat was run down. Spoleto has narrow streets and fast traffic.

Apparently it is very difficult to taste the difference between rabbit and cat when it is on the plate. Just saying...

With the high cost of basic food ingredients in Italy I expect there is a lot cheating going on.
