Losing a car licence plate.
My front numberplate has fallen off on the autostrada. I had thought that it would be a matter of simply buying a new plate, producing a pile of paperwork to support the purchase. But no, I am informed by the Motorizzazione Civile that I have to re-register the car, "€135, please",!
Anyone else come across this? Is there a work-around? (I have made a denuncia, just in case road-maintenance find it and do the decent thing.) |

Re: Losing a car licence plate.
no work around.
Don't try to just get one made, you will get a huge fine. 135 seems quite good to me. For a ancient piaggio I paid close on 200. |

Yep, forget Halfords where you can have one made while you wait and costs peanuts comparing to what they want here....
