Local magazines

Does anyone know if there are any local magazines that local businesses advertise in and which cover local news and whats on features in Umbria? I've had one of those locally here that come through the door and I just wondered whether Umbria has anything similar or whether you thought it might be of interest to the locals? The reason I ask is because I have many years experience in publishing as a magazine designer here in the UK and in thinking of ways to help me make ends meet once over in Umbria, I did wonder if a start up idea might work once I'm there. Any thoughts?

Hey Modicasa, I had a look at your website and FB page. Great resources for buyers and for people living in Sicily as well. Husband and I are in Palermo for a week in May, really looking forward to it.

Thanks modicasa..I was thinking of online really but using my magazine skills with writing, design etc. I've searched from here in the UK but not found anything like what I'm thinking of so far.

Ah sorry, I got the wrong end of the stick. If youre planning a 'publication' that publishes regularly, and has even a tiny amount of comment and article, then you will need to be a registered journalist, even online. And getting to be a registered journalist is where the fun really starts..... Thanks spouse of scouse - enjoy Palermo!
