What are we going to call the food/drink/recipe/where to find things thread and does everybody else want it to become a sticky that stays at the top ?

Re: LIDL - British Week
Padova's not so far away and we've got two fairs here that might interest you. One is the 'Continental Fair', held every year in Padova - apparently it's the largest one in Europe - and one of the stalls might sell cider. I can't remember exactly when it's on - I know it's either side of christmas.
We'd only been living here for a few months when we went to this fair last year and instead of hearing Italian, all of a sudden there were these cockney stallholders complaining loudly to each other how expensive EasyJet was!
The second fair is held at the same location, Prato delle Valle, and the whole space is given to cooked (to eat there and then) food and drink stalls ie American steaks, german beers, thai food, bratwurst. I can't actually remember if there was any English food on the go because I was only interested in the Thai food!
