Learning Italian

I complete the purchase of my house in Puglia next week and despite a term at night school (!) I want to learn more Italian, better Italian and quickly

What's the best way? Rosetta Stone type lessons, a residential course in Italy or a private tutor?

Ciao a presto

Re: Learning Italian

I can get nice scores on the Rosetta stone and Michel Thomas but when it comes to the neighbour telling us something it is very difficult to understand anything he has to say. To assist comprehension he says the same thing again a bit louder and then gives up. All Italians should be encouraged to speak like Fabio Fazio then we would know where we were.
