Language schools

Back on here after a few months away since move to Milan is now on for later this year. I have done some internet research regarding language schools but there seem to be so many! Plan is to study Italian 5 mornings a week, semi intensive. Will be living around/ in vicinity of the green line metro towards Lambrate. Anyone aware of or have experience of language schools/ courses in that area or nearer the centre about 10/ 15 mins on the metro from Lambrate or Udine? Any schools I should avoid even??

Thanks all.

Have a look on the Town Hall website as many of them offer free or very cheap Italian classes for foreigners.
