Just arrived back in Italy (and nobody wanted to see our Covid test results or any other documents en route). Great to be here! But one thing that struck us was that prices of everything in the shops and of fuel seem to have gone up significantly since last year. Anyone else found the same, or are we misremembering?

Our weekly supermarket bill has increased about 30%. I assume they are trying to make up for reduced sales and increased costs. Getting receipts seems more difficult now.
We called someone to clean the drain. They gave us a price with receipt and one without. We opted for the receipt but when they came they said the installation wasnt within the law and they couldnt issue a receipt but they charged the reciept price!
