Default Hypothetical Move and Mortgage

Afternoon Forum,

I have a hypothetical situation that could play out with a few moving parts so need advice.

1) I'm looking at buying a property for my mum, I will be a resident for the property on paper but because I'm in the army I'll barely be in it.

2) in a year from now I leave the army and a company in italy has expressed interest in hiring me.

3) if I take the job in 12 months, and move to Italy, working and residing there, will it have any implications on my mortgage in the UK?

4) is there any legal reason why my mum would not be able to continue living there?

Thanks for the advice
Sam
