How to safeguard yourself: bonifico per la cauzione del contratto
Good afternoon,
We want to sign rent contract. Our agent asks " siete pronti ad effettuare bonifico per la cauzione del contratto per procedere come si dovrebbe? " . We haven't seen the contract yet and the agent is a self-employed.
At the same time it's a valid request if we want the apartment to be taken off the market.
Is there any way to safeguard our money so that they don't take it and run ?

Who do they want the cauzione paying to, the owner of the apartment or the agent?

He didn't specify yet, but either can disappear once the transfer is made, therefore what difference would it make to me?
