Home finding resources

Does anyone know of any good websites where owners are selling properties direct? We are looking for a house in Toscana within Firenze-Altopascio-Poggibonsi triangle. A little tired of wild goose chases & layers and layers of agents & the huge variability of prices for the same property with different agents. Esp interested in Brits selling who would accept offers in sterling.

Forgive me if this is the wrong posting place, but I couldn't find a more appropriate place.

Hi,

I can't recommend any specific sites but have you tried entering for example:

'vendita immobili da privati' Toscana

into Google?

The house we are living in this year (just outside Florence) is for sale. It is large and probably expensive though. What is your budget? Also, not sure who it is listed with. I may be able to find out who.

I can only think of the 2 obvious ones:
www.subito.it
www.ebay.it
Use the filter to search for private sellers, etc.
