Default Hayfever season

We both suffer badly with hayfever. The main trigger is olive pollen which is slightly inconvenient as we are olive farmers in Southern Spain.

We have taken to having a long holiday touring each year during our peak pollen season and fancy Italy next year ( top to bottom).

The question is what is the hayfever season like between mid May and the end of May please? If rain is likely to occur during that time it will help.

The environmental agency ARPA publish a prollen calendar for each region. The seasons have been a bit strange lately. May and June are the worst months in Umbria.
Here is a pollen calendar for Umbria Calendari pollinici - ARPA Umbria

That is very interesting, thanks. Your olives must mature late . Feb or March

i see oaks are a problem like they are here.

You should check for the region and place you plan to visit. For example pollen counts in the Veneto are different from Umbria.
