Good news for anyone waiting for driving licence

It actually says:"The Agreement applies to all holders of a valid UK licence provided that they have been resident in Italy for less than six years at the time of application for exchange. UK licence holders who acquired residence in Italy on or before 31 December 2020 may exchange their licence even if they have been resident in Italy for more than six years."
It's a bit confusing, but it's the second sentence that applies to you.If you have been resident for more than 6 years you don't need to worry because you acquired residence before 2020. It's only people who arrived post Brexit who have the 6 years limit.
