Just spent the weekend there with the Mrs...Great place BUT MY god how you guys that live there manage with the traffic CRAZY :banghead:

and FERKING rip off...walked into a bar asked for two cappuccino's and I waited the girl said you go sit down I will bring them, I said no I will wait it's ok...no no I will bring them....Went to pay...7 EUROS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Because she brought them outside....ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR :banghead::hysterical:

I agree - I think Florence is just about the perfect city, urbanistically., but I dont go anymore because its so full of tourists - specifically stupid tourists. In the old days at least the Oltrarno was quiet and normal, but now even there is a nightmare. And the prices..... However nobody can make you sit down for a coffee. You have a legal right to drink at the bar and pay the minimum.
