Our connection to the house is 200A, (24KW ) which is standard for modern houses.

Do the ironing now, then turn on the dishwasher when you go to bed. That's when we usually start our dishwasher, ..... or when we go out, for no other reason than it's convenient and we're not waiting for it to finish running.

I usually put the dishwasher on in the evenings when leccy is cheaper, but forgot. Had to go on this morning. The washing machine is programmed for early morning washes. The ironing can wait!
