I'm in the Veneto. I don't know of anybody, but I could call mine to ask if he has any names. Where exactly in Veneto? It's fairly big and I'm in a very small part of it and not a big city.

That would be great, thank you very much! I’m in Verona. I have a coupe of names but would ideally like recommendations.

thanks a lot

I can't make any promises, but asking won't cost me anything. When I was a shy teen, my mum shoved me into various places forcing me to ask for something and she kept telling me that people would reply or say yes or no. I guess it rubbed off because now I ask for all sorts.

You should ask for an estimate and ask what the hourly rate is. I had an Italian accountant who was charging Euro100 an hour and he was incompetent. If he wants a deposit go somewhere else.

Okay thanks! I assumed that an initial consultation to find out more about the services and to see if we could work together would be free, is this not usually the case here? Thanks

I would only pay when they have completed the tax return. I pay around Euro300 for mine(very simple). A lot of Italians do it themselves but if you have assets abroad it gets quite complicated. I don't think they should charge for an initial meeting unless your situation is very complex.

I don't know any Italians who do their own. Not a single one. My partner takes his CUD from work or whatever it is called now and medical/dentist receipts (including the kids') and the interest letter from the bank about the mortgage and pays the commrcialista €60.

Lots of other Italian friends use the services of CAAF where they pay even less.

My girlfriend's dad does it all by himself, then again, he is quite eccentric
