Clements discontinuing Third Party Cover
Has anyone else received the email from Clements stating that at the end of our current policies they will no long be providing Third Party Cover - and where does that leave us? Anyone know of a solution which doesn't involve the extortionate price of Italian insurance?

Haven't priced it lately but before going to Clements (which was something else back then) I paid more than double for third party with an Italian company than I paid Clements for full cover the following year.

My understanding is that here in Italy they insure the CAR, not the driver, so anyone can drive your car (there are age limits) and 'use' your insurance.
One can certainly budget for a 50/70% increase from your UK costs, dependent upon the going exchange rate, but I think that the red telephone crowd will recognise your UK no claims ?
