Bournemouth to Milan

Hi all,

I'm trying to find a cost effective way to go to Milan from Bournemouth, or somewhere close. Pisa is the only airport Bournemouth flies to so that's a no go.

Is there anywhere else close to Milan that I may be able to fly to? Or from Southampton.

Thanks

Bristol maybe? Unfortunately if you can't get to Milan with Ryan at this time of year then you aren't going to get anywhere else as Milan is Ryan's main hub. There's a new service out of London City airport to Florence and Meridiana fly Gatwick to Florence - at least then you could transfer to the fast train at SMN to Milan which now takes 1hr 45mins. My son does the trip from Winchester to Gatwick via Clapham and it's relatively easy to do..The best one is Bournemouth to Pisa but it's summer only and nothing seems to go out of Southampton. :)

Relatives recently came from Turin to visit me in the UK and they flew from Milan Bergamo to Bristol using Ryanair.
