Black Cats.... Bit worried
Hi has anyone had any bad experiences that have anything to do with black cats?
I have 2 and have heard some rather worrying things about how they are treated / viewed in Italy.
Hoping very much that it's just a bit of mythology/ scaremongering, but worried nontheless...

Best to keep him indoors around the festival of San Giovanni (24 June) when people used to throw them into a fire. They might still do it in some remote village in somewhere like Umbria!

Unfortunately there are many cat haters out there, no matter which country you are in (regardless of the myths). All you can do is reduce the risk by not living in a busy village/town, or on a busy main road. The fewer people around the better but of course there's always a risk.
