They are a great idea if used as an alternative to not washing ones privates, but I fear they are used as an alternative to a shower or bath, especially in France.
In other words, I'm in favour if they are an aid to washing more, but there is a risk they are being used as an aid to washing less.

Nah!There are occasions-especially on extremely hot days when a lovely cool douche around one's private parts is just so.....................wonderful

but ze French are ecological and economical with water!
I haven't had a bath for decades (although we do have a tub)!
