Bergamo
Last month I visited this small city in the north of Italy
Nice city..I really enjoyed it. There's a old "high" city (on the top of a hill) really nice...
I reached by Ryanair from London and in the only weekend I was there..I could even go skiing in the mountains (only 50 km some good places)

Bergamo is lovely - I lived just outside in the Val Seriana for a year, many many moons ago ! I have lots of fond memories - can you still go up in the funicular to the old city ? There was an amazing Cathedral in the main square - breathtaking.
