I don’t know of anyone on here or indeed in Abruzzo that lives there or even nearby, so I had a look at the place. Another of the many, many lovely hilltop towns, over 900m above sea level with a population of under 1000. Great view here on Google maps, but unless you are happy being isolated, especially in winter, you need to be careful. As for building, I think you can imagine the trouble and cost of getting goods to the area.
