Default IT jobs in middle east and far East

Hi everyone, my name is Doug and I currently live in New York and have been in the US for 10 years. My contract may be coming to an end in December and the job market here is in the toilet so I am looking overseas for a new job.

Currently I am senior systems and network engineer at a large Japanese bank in Manhattan but have been in operations management and project management positions before.

My question is what countries still have a demand for highly skilled IT staff that they cannot fill locally?

I have worked a lot in banking and hedgefunds in Bermuda, caymans, Luxembourg, London and have a good security background.

I see that lots of people are leaving UAE and that Australia and Hong Kong are slow now too.

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks

Doug
