it job market vancouver
Hi
I have a job offer in vancouver as a nurse and would be moving with my husband who is business analyst and 2 small children aged 3 and 8 mths. This is obviously a huge move for us and all things considered we really want to go, however the job market in vancouver for IT work doesnt seem to read well. Can anyone tell me what it is truely like - permanent or contract work considered. any help is much appreciated. thanks

I'd like to know how the IT market in Vancouver is too...I'm planning to head out next year via Bunac to do web development.

I'm searching for work on a BUNAC visa right now. Its by no means hopeless but it is harder than it was in London a few years ago when I got into the market.
That being said, I have just had a very positive interview.
I'm interested to hear other opinions/advice though, always helpful!
