Is ACS recognition required?
I have no degree in computing, but I do have a HNC from Scotland plus 7 years experience in Support / Application development / project management. We already have a PR visa (wife's a nurse)
Does anyone have any idea whether I need to get ACS membership to get a job, or even if it is worthwhile to help finding a job?

Hi there
You do not need to be a member of ACS to get a job
Not sure if it is helpful to have or not ?? Suppose it wouldn't hurt but certainly not essential.
All the best

Noone cared about my skills assessment when I was looking for a job just that I had a PR visa and my experience/qualifications.
The main concern was how long we were planning on staying here for
