Got a job offer? - Make sure your employer organises for a KITAS which is a visa permit to work here. Don't settle for less as immigration and tax offices are getting more efficient these days although corruption is still rife but very open!
Make sure you do an annual tax return and keep the original should be supplied from your employer - covers you if you ever decide to return to the UK. Make sure also plenty of space in your passport and plenty of time left on it as pain having to courier things now to Hong Kong!
