Default Irish man missing in India

I'd be grateful if anyone in India, either living there or travelling, can distribute this information about Jonathan Spollen. He has been missing since February 3 and his worried family and friends will be most appreciative. Thanks

Hi Meow

Apologies but this is the first time I have seen this thread.

I don't know whether this gent is still missing but if he is it may be worth sending your flier to the Times of India newspaper.
You can either Google it as there is an online edition, or if you check out the Goa newspapers thread there are loads of direct links in some of the posts which will give you a direct contact.
This is one of the most widely read papers in India so would get very good coverage as it is distributed in English and I am pretty sure there is a Hindi version as well, meaning ti will go to a wide audience.

Also has anyone contacted the British High Commission? If not let me know and I will send you some names of significant staff therein with direct contact details.

Hope this helps

It must be terrible for his family - the not knowing.
His family are right in not just accepting the theory being given by the local police about him going 'walkabout', even though it is a possibility - Indian Police have a history of finding the most plausible excuses when it comes to anything involving foreigners.

I hope this man is found soon.
