I love Indian food . My favorite Indian Foods are : Paneer, Dal, Dahi Bhalla, Chawal, Roti, sweetdish and so on .

Hi Romita and welcome to the forum.

Doesn't everyone like Indian food? Here in Penang (Malaysia), most of the Indian food around tends to be southern. Quite a few banana leaf eateries and tons of Nasi Kandar places.

Just seen this thread...I love Indian Food but I must admit if prefer Southern Indian Food..i.e Malaysian etc, Pan Asia is my favorite style food, but a combination of the two is great!

What is Pan Asia exactly? Also trying to figure the Southern India and Malaysia connection. I see both southern and Northern Indian food outlets here.

We lived in Goa for over 3 years, and only left because of the silly visa rules. And we loved all the food there. Now in the TRNC, there are a couple of "Indian" restaurants here, but food is very bland as they are trying to please all the brit ex pats here. So we now are getting very good at doing our own Indian meals. And if we search around we can get most that we need to a good Indian meal.

But we do really miss the great food over there. You never know though, they may change the daft visa rules one day.
