Default CounterSignature for my little boi's passport

Gents,

I'm applying for my son's first time passport with C2 forms (considering that he is just few months old). One of the requirements is (No.8) to have a counter signature from British/EU citizen.

If there is someone is Gurgaon who is willing to certify, it would be of immense help.

Cheers.

Garry.

But they won't know you or your son. Why would someone break the law for someone they don't know?

Cheers mate for a quick reply, Appreciate your concern though.

Certainly I would show him/her the same set of documents which are to be submitted to British Embassy.

Cheers.

Hello Gary and welcome to the forum.

Is there any other option mentioned besides signature from British/EU citizen? Would getting it 'notarised' be ok? Verification by any Govt-appointed local Notary Public is usually accepted. Its similar to the Commissioner of Oath system. If thats acceptable that'll solve your problem as there are several who will do it for a small fee (official).

Cheers

Hi Garry

I take it your son is in India? If not what are the circumstances?
Do you have no British expats in India who are friends of yours who could assist with this?
