recieved an email from case officer
visa granted on 3/7/04
think i'll have a drink or 2

We are applying Skilled Independant - we know that the AS$100,000 bond is set up with the WA Treasury and that they sent the confirmation on 25th June to DIMIA.
I emailed our case officer a couple of weeks ago (before WA had sent him the confirmation) and he told me to contact him again if we hadn't heard from him within a month.
So, did your case officer tell you this pro-actively (that you had the visa) or was it in a reply from a query from you?

i got impatient and emailed case officer to see if there was a problem as our AOS Bond was recieved by them on the 2nd june, and he replied with the official email saying we had got it and all the other stuff about when we needed to enter oz and all that

By the way selling you house and packing will be a breeze after all the hard work of putting an applitation together, well i hope it will because i'v just sold my house and moving into rented until we get the ok. Have a couple for me

I emailed our case officer last week, to be told our case officer was changed and when I emailed new case officer, she basically said that they do not acknowledge individual documents and that it takes a while for documents to get to her, she will issue the visa once she has received the documentation. So I guess we will hear in about 2 weeks time!
