It's worth checking prices for coming in via Brisbane or Sydney as although it's a longer journey and an extra flight it is sometimes a cheaper option.

Thanks for that, we did think about actually landing elsewhere and then travel by different means to Cairns but then with three children and after that flight!
I guess we will keep on checking and see.
