Dear All,

I have lodged my application for Skilled - Independent (subclass 885) on 10th Jan 2010.

After uploading all the documents, i have realized that the date of birth mentioned on one of my driving license is wrong (typing error). Instead of 24/12/1980, it is typed as 24/08/1980.

But even if "24/08/1980" is considered, i come under 18-29 years slot.

Every other document that i have uploaded has correct date of birth on it.

My case status is "Processing commenced". I think no case officer is assigned to me as yet.

If anyone else has faced the same issue before, please advise on What should i do ?

Should i wait for CO to be assigned to me and then point out this to him ? or should i send an email right away ?
I can wait for them to find out this issue but could this have any adverse effect on my case ?

Any advise will be greatly appreciated.

Hi again, if there is some discrepancy with your documents then I would notify the issuing department that sent the document with the wrong dob and when you receive the updated, correct document, I would submit this via uploader and put a little note at the side saying new doc with CORRECT date of birth
