I am a UK passport holder with an Australian PR visa (subclass 136). Can I
work in NZ with this, and if so what are the restrictions? Or do I have to
apply for a separate NZ work visa?
Many thanks

Four points
1. A subclass 136 visa is not an RRV, so will probably not be
acceptable to the New Zealand authorities.
2. If you live for too long in New Zealand you risk losing Australian
PR.
3. Time spent in New Zealand does not count for Australian
citizenship.
4. If you eventually became a NZ citizen, New Zealanders no longer
get PR rights in Australia.
