Tricky medical questions - any advise gratefully received
Hi! This is my first post so please be kind I might be completely dreaming but you never know.
About 6 years I applied with my DH for immigration to Oz but failed my basis medical due to very mild MS. At the time, we didn't appeal and tried to push the disappointment to the back of our minds...of course, this hasn't been possible...
2 doctors have recently suggested that I should be re-tested for MS as I have been completely healthy now for years and although I know it's a long shot, I am thinking about giving it a go just in case.
I was just wondering whether anyone else has failed their medical due to MS, and if they did anything about it.
Also I was reading on the forum about people using agents to help them with tricky situations including health issues - has anyone come across an agent who specialises in health issues?
Do the medical requirements change at all depending on who is the main applicant (last time I was as I have Australian relatives) - this time, if it was worth applying again, it would be my husband?
Many thanks

Lots of agents will give you an initial free consultation and will be qualified to comment on your situation. Do a search of agents on here, Good Luck.

Peter Bollard is an agent often recommended for health issues - he may be able to give you an answer regarding your chances.
Maybe get retested for the MS first - and hopefully it's a good result and you can forward the specialist's report with your medical.

Many thanks everyone, I really appreciate your help.
I'll try and get re-tested soon, and hopefully, it will be worthwhile speaking to Peter Bollard. I'll keep you posted.
Many thanks again!
