I am looking to apply for 856 visa before 1st July.
I have had my skills already assessed by chartered accountants of Australia so my question is in relation to the work experience, is it a requirement to have three years post qualified experience or is it just three years work experience in total. I would be interested to hear from people who have actually gone through this process. I know to claim points for 175 visa you must have three years post qualifed experience.
Thanks in advance for any replies

It's all here: http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/skill...bclass-856.htm
Under Exemption from Eligibility Requirements it clearly says:
Where the employee cannot meet the skill, language or age requirement an application for an exemption under exceptional circumstances can be made.
Skill exemptions
Exceptional circumstances for the skill requirement might be considered in the following case:
Skill Exceptional circumstances
Does not have three years post-qualification work experience The position is so unusual or highly specialised that it is unlikely a suitable person with at least three years of post-qualification work experience could be found in Australia or overseas.
You are therefore expected to have three years post-qualification work experience and if you haven't, then you have to have a very good reason explaining why not.
