Work Experience - Points and Assessment
Hi,
I would be grateful for your advice. I am hoping to apply for permanent skilled migration - 189. In order to obtain the necessary points I need to:
-apply before my next birthday in March (ok)
-prove my english language ability via IELTS (Ok - have a 9)
-have my accountancy qualification and degree assessed (ok - done)
-prove 10 years work experience
Failure to achieve any of the above means insufficient points.
My question relates to the latter bullet point - is it compulsory to secure an assessment from the assessing accountancy body - or can I submit my evidence (references etc) directly as part of my visa application?
Thank you

I don't think you have to have your work experience checked by the assessing body. Looking at skill select, you have to provide them proof of work experience - references, pay slips, contracts, etc.
Good luck
