WHV Approval time - Outside of character requirements
 

Hello all,

I have lodged an application 6 months ago. My status is ïn progress"and has been for several months now.

The last correspondence from the department based in Perth was a request for additional supporting documentation.

I fail on the "less than 12 month criminal record". This part is not essential at this point. I have tried email contact 5 time post last request for supporting documentation. I am currently travelling around SE Asia and require an answer due to needing to book flights to Oz/back home to UK.

Can anyone share any past experiences or have a rough idea when i can find out. I have tried the Australian embassy where I'm currently located in Cambodia and they couldn't do anything, not even provide me with a contact number.'

Any advice or help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
