WHM visa quota

Can anyone tell me if the quota for the Australian WHM visa has been
met this year yet?

I'm looking to apply for one, but don't see the point in doing it now
if the quota has already been met.

Thanks

I'm not certain, but I don't think it's likely that the quota has already been met. I'm in Oz at the moment on a WHM, for which I applied in September, so they don't seem to meet the quota that quickly

At the embassy they can tell you exactly how many places are left.

As far as I'm aware, Australia doesn't cap the numbers of WHVs
currently, although the Department reserves the right to do so.
