Default What kind of Oracle skill is MODL

DIAC's website shows "Computing Professional - specialising in Oracle" under MODL list, but within Oracle domain, we have various skill areas like oracle database, Oracle E-Business Suite (ERP) Functional, ERP technical and other oracle technologies like fusion middleware, OBIEE etc.

I would like to ask, if someone working as a Oracle E-Business Suite functional consultant since last 4 years be granted MODL under the Oracle domain or ACS needs specific skills in Oracle database, can he to be granted MODL with 2231-79 (ORACLE) in ACS?

I would be applying shortly to ACS and wanted to avoid any surprises later on.
Anyone have such experience? Thanks in advance.

To add some more info,

I am an Oracle E-Business Suite functional consultant in Supply chain modules (OTC, PTP and Logistics modules). I have a 4 year graduate degree in Computer Engineering and 4 years of experience in the same role with 5 Oracle E-Bis projects under my belt.

Some of my day to day responsibilities include
• Gather and document system requirements from stake holders.
• Analyze business requirements and prepare business process flow maps.
• Design and propose solution in Oracle E-Business Suite in conjunction with to be process flows and present proof of concept.
• Prepare Oracle E-Business Suite application setup and customization specification documents.
• Setup Oracle E-Business Suite applications.
• Prepare Test Scripts for testing set-ups and customizations according to the Customer Business flows.
• Key and End user training with documentation.
• Post go-live issue resolution and enhancements.
• Coordination with offshore team.

Does the above criteria satisfy ACS requirements for MODL assessment under group A?

Ritesh,

There is only one Oracle specialization under MODL. no matter you work with Oracle Apps or dB.You will be considered for Oracle.Myself and many others here on BE have got MODL as SAP from ACS but infact working on different technologies under SAP umbrella like SAP XI, SAP BW etc which are again datawarehousing and integration field...i assume same applies to ORACLE technologies too...

But i will take back a step in confirming you that whether Functional and technical work are both treated as same by ACS? May be some one will help you here....

Cheers
