For education history is it commonplace to include everything of just the latest
stuff. Obviously I'm going to provide copies of my BSc and HND certificates but do I
need to do A' Levels and GCSE's as well? (Only reason I ask is that I haven't got a
clue where my A' Level ones are)

Yes you really need to get everything. If you can't find them, you'll have to write to your old school or the examination board. When doing the application form try to do your very best to get everything they ask for!

Is this right, because I thought ACS were only interested tertiary qualifications,
rather than secondaries?
Has anyone been asked to provide GCSE's/A Levels from the ACS?
Cheers!

Steady on there, I don't think you do need to send everything. I just sent my degree
certificate and transcript. I just listed my results for other qualifications, but I
did not send certificates. This was acceptable to both the ACS and DIMIA itself.

hmmmmmm well thinking back to 1999, I was advised to do everything they asked for and
took it very seriously, taking a year to get everything together before sending off
the form..... after all you only get the one chance, with no discussion. I guess I
could have done this much quicker, but it was getting hold of the references that
took the most time. At the time when applying for "independant class 126", (which I
think is the same as independant skilled now), there was no skills assessment
required... just complete the form, send it in with your refs, certificates, etc etc,
and then hope! Personally if I was applying now, I think I would still do it, perhaps
just to keep my chances as high as possible. I sent in degree, A levels, O
levels/GCSEs . I think they also asked for results during the degree course and I
managed to dig a few things up. Cheers Tim http://emigrate.hotshopping.com.au

I believe that they are not required, as if you have included proof of your degree,
then you have proved you have a-levels and gc(s)es because before you can undertake a
degree you need to be qualified to a certain level (a-levels, hnd, etc etc) Before
you can do a-levels, hnd, etc etc you need to have completed your GCSEs/O-Levels
