what exactly does the main visa entail?
Is it as much as the tra?

not at all it seems really easy. why don't you check the form out on-line?
We did the old style 136 and i'm not sure how it works exactly now, but if you can get the form you can collate your information ready to send it when you get your successful tra

from looking at the forms on line they look straight forward enough they dont worry me as much as getting every thing ready for the tra

It's not the forms but the supporting documents that are the trick with the visa application.
