Any one sent medicals and still waiting for more than one month?

Hi,

Take a look at the following threads and you`ll see that things seem to have dried up after the flurry of activity that DIMIA had following their end of year quotas to meet. There appears to be alot of people waiting on this final stage of their visa`s. Us included.

When I had my medicals done by a doctor in oz, after waiting 3 weeks with no response, I phone the medical centre and was told that oopps it was filed by mistake, they also forgot to sign the forms, which had to be returned to them. So in fact took approx 6 weeks to be forwarded to the DIMA, after that only 2 weeks to be approved. Now I have my Spouse Visa.
I hope that this information helps, you never said whether you were from Uk or elsewhere.

Been waiting 1 month today....

After waiting a few weeks I emailed my case officer and asked if everything
had been received ok. First she replied that the police checks hadn't
arrived (which they had, by DHL) and she'd look into it. A few hours later a
new email informed us everything was ok and our visa had been granted the
same day.

If we hadn't emailed then who knows when the visa had been granted...

yes, how about 3.5 months .. that's how long i've been waiting
(counting from the day they received my medicals and police) and still
no news ... dah!!

Medicals & PCC were sent out on 1st week of June, still waiting and
waiting.......

... will complete 4 months after sending mecials (pc's much earlier) on the 8th of August. And just when I thought finally we would not have to wait much longer ???????? woe....
