hi guys
just wondering if anyone has any idea how long wa are teking to grant state sponsorship .
only just applied just wondering how long my wait will be ?

if you looked at the wa site, its states 3-4 months and wa expo the lady said 4 months

Hi, yes WA site does say 3 - 4 months and when we asked at an expo in late September it was around 4 months, but when we spoke to the same person at an Expo in Feb she told us it had gone out to about 12 months. We were pretty disappointed but we'll hang on in there and hope the leadtime comes in.

I have never come across anyone waiting 12 months for state sponsorship. WA is the slowest as it is very popular and I have seen applications averaging around 6 or 7 months at the moment.

I applied on 31/07/2009 and got it on 01/02/2010 .It took me 6 months but I know there are some persons who have been waiting more than 7 months.
It seems that the W.A government won't grant any sponsorship until the release of their migration plan in july.

I applied my one in mid of July and got back in the end of Feb, but saw a few BE members here applied even later than me, but got back much earlier than mine..so, no idea how long it will take...but I say around 5-6 months time in average...
