Hello Everybody,

I am also planning to apply for NSW state sponsorship subclass 190. I have a query that does migrating under this sponsorship restricts me from working or living in particular area or I can work and live anywhere in the state. I have 4 years and 6 months of experience in software development.

Please guide me .

Plz read the skillselect website about 190 visa.

For 190 you need to live and work in that state for first two years.We can live and work any where within the STATE .And later after two years it is whole australia.


However don't dream and wait at planning stage for NSW for a long time. Coz recently they are getting Huge amount of apps. Suddenly you will find that your occupation is closed.

So do it hurry if u are really interested. .

Hi All,
Looking for your kind opinion as I am almost ready to send my documents for NSW State Sponsorship.

I have seen the latest (dated: 14-12-2012) occupation list, "Software Engineer" is still valid under 190.

Is if fine to submit application at this point of time as this program was open since Nov, I mean still there are any bright chances or hope ???????

You should try because NSW still did not removed that occupation from the list.

However, below your signature it is showing EOI 140 points.
What was that actually please?

By looking at given spreadsheet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...CdXFxU3c#gid=7 , I can see there are almost 30+ applicants of my occupation which are waiting.

Do you have any idea what is the limit of nomination for each occupation with NSW ?

Hello,
I should vote for the simple formula. . .

Still now this occupation is in NSW SMP SOL.
.And I noticed each month NSW is accepting people of same occupation gradually.

If someone applys on 1 Jan 2013 as programmer and NSW removes the occupation 'programmer' on 20 Jan from their SOL list; this applicant must not be worried because he /she is already in the pool(As per my understanding)

Finally its up to you......

It is not properly opening in my tablet. . .

However I would advise not to be confused at any unofficial statistics. . .

If you really want to be worried, . then see the remaining occupation ceilling published in skillselect and calendar (only 6 months and 8 days remaining till 01 July 2013)

Hi,
I have applied for NSW SS under Developer Programmer.I have 55 points without NSW SS.I submitted MY EOI on 24-NOV-2012.I sent My docs to NSW,sydney office.Those were reached ON 30-NOV-2012.

Till now i did not get any reply from NSW.Does anybody was in same sitauation or anyone applied in last week of november 2012 got NSW SS?
